Helping Supply Chain planners optimize their production network
Our client had built a sophisticated optimization model for supply chains and needed a front-end for collecting inputs and visualizing outputs.

Approach
We took a pre-existing sketch and worked with end users, technology teams, and business teams to co-design a scalable workflow tool that would help collect the required inputs for the model, produce outputs, and clone reports. We had two weeks to execute this project and it would be built for React.
Result
A comprehensive Figma prototype highlighting three core use cases including running a model, viewing model results, and cloning an existing model. This was specified and handed off through design communications protocols. This design is being scaled to accommodate multiple use-cases. Lessons: This was a fast-paced project, and when moving fast, it is important to keep parties involved and to do regular check-ins with dev. It’s also worth noting that sometimes things were designed a certain way for a reason. For example, because data might not be available. So it’s good for design to work closely with dev to understand these limitations.
