Helping Customs Agent manage their tariff mitigation workflows

Approach
We ran interviews with Customs, Shipping, and Logistics personas involved in tariff mitigation workflows to co-design a tool that would help them track shipments and spot tariff risks before they materialized.
Result
A Power Apps tool that provides visibility into the tariff mitigation workflows and supports E2E processing of shipments containing at-risk goods. Lessons: PowerApps (and Power BI for that matter) have a lot of limitations in terms of what can be done with them. Understanding these constraints and working with developers is helpful to make sure that what can be delivered can actually be built. Getting alignment from business on discrete requirements and setting appropriate expectations can help solutions reach market on time and to specification.
